WELCOME!
Hello, welcome, and thanks once again for stopping by our NEW and improved South Miami Lutheran Church web site. This is our new website design to go along with a brand new year and a brand new start for SMLC and us all. Our prayer is that this site will be a reflection of our wonderful congregation and a place you can always find yourself.
Over the summer on this website you will find updated information on everything about us -- our ministries, activities, and more -- as well as articles, pictures, and the weekly readings. We hope you enjoy everything it has to offer you. We like to thank all who have over the years maintained with love the original website.
For those of you who do not know us, that to the right is a picture of our wonderful stained-glass window at the front of our sanctuary. It is such a fitting picture, too, as this is a church whose vision / goal / purpose is new people coming to it because they want to know Jesus Christ and members coming because they want to continue growing in their faith and to share it with others. Just like Jesus, we welcome you with open arms so we hope you come visit us soon!
We @ SMLC are committed to being part of a tight-knit community of people who support and celebrate one another. The people of South Miami Lutheran Church along with intrem pastor Rev. Dr. Arnold R. Perry, Rev. Frank Kopania, Deacon Jeanne Batridgeand the Church Council and Committees welcome all people to share in its worship and ministry in proclaiming God’s love. Through Jesus Christ we reach out to each other, our community and our world.
If you live in town, come out, see us, and share yourself with us sometime. If you do not live in Miami but are ever visiting though, we hope you do stop by and visit with us. We’d love to have you.
If we can be of any assistance, please feel free to contact us at (305-665-2562) or by sending e-mail to Mary at the office at mksmlchurch@bellsouth.net.
Remember whether you are a member or not, you are always welcome at South Miami Lutheran Church.
God Bless You!
