• Good Samaritan Dinners are back!

  2026 Good Samaritan Awards Banquet

  We are delighted to gather once again to honor those who embody Christ’s compassion and serve as the hands and feet of Jesus within their churches and communities. Inspired by the Parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30–37), this treasured event allows us to recognize individuals whose lives beautifully reflect Christ’s love in action.

  This year’s banquet will be held at Christ the King Lutheran Church on Sunday, June 20th, at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $40.00 per person. Please RSVP to the church office by May 29th, no tickets will be available at the door.

  We are proud to announce that SMLC’s 2026 Good Samaritan honoree is Michele Wright. Congratulations, Michele, this recognition is truly well deserved and a beautiful testament to the many ways you live out the spirit of a Good Samaritan.  Please join us in celebrating Michele!

  Spanish Confirmation/Lutheranism class
  El 7 y 14 de junio, después del culto, la Pastora Katie ofrecerá una clase para adultos sobre los sacramentos y el luteranismo, para quienes deseen prepararse para la membresía/confirmación en la iglesia o para un mayor entendimiento de los sacramentos. ¡Todos los hablantes de español son bienvenidos!

  On June 7 and 14 following worship, Pastor Katie is offering an adult class on the sacraments and Lutheranism--for any wishing to prepare  for membership/confirmation in the church or for greater understanding of the sacraments.  All Spanish speakers are welcome!

   

• Community Food Box

  We have a community food box located on the northeast side of our property on Sunset Drive. 

  Put food in, take food out; on Monday's you may find fresh bread and cookies.
